2026 Community Action Fund: Nomination Form

Thank you for taking the time to nominate an organization for the 2026 Community Action Fund grant opportunity and support the CLA Foundation's commitment to helping people in our communities.

 

Organizations are eligible for this grant opportunity if they meet the following eligibility criteria:​

  1. Aligned with one or more of the Three Es: Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship.​
  2. Located within 50 miles of a CLA office location.
  3. Recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3). Organizations that require a fiscal agent are not eligible.

 

Please note that the CLA Foundation does not provide grants for the following:

  • Sponsorships
  • Memberships
  • Galas
  • Event tables/tickets
  • Sports Teams
  • Organizations requesting funding for re-granting
  • Individuals (organization scholarship programs are eligible)
  • Political candidates or political campaigns and activities that exist to influence legislation and voting
  • Programs or organizations where grant funds are used for inherently religious activities (such as religious worship, instruction, proselytizing a religious point of view or requiring a commitment to a specific religion tradition as a condition of participating in programs or organizational activities).

 

Nominations are limited to one nomination per CLA employee (using their CLA email address). Before submitting a nomination, please review the Community Action Fund FAQ.

 

Need help finding the organization's EIN?

Nonprofits often provide their EIN directly on their website or fundraising materials. You can also confirm the organization's EIN number by using the IRS database and searching by the organization's name: Tax Exempt Organization Search | Internal Revenue Service (irs.gov)
